| God: | If you accept the Torah, all is well: but if not, your burial will be there! |
This means had you coerced us into accepting the Torah
as You did the Jews, we too would have observed its precepts.
So it is unfair to reward only the Jews for observing
the Torah and mitzvos, when we would have acted
just as they did had You coerced us to accept the Torah.
