Passage Content
| Hanna | I will go and seclude myself with another man,
in front of my husband Elkanah, provoking him into suspecting of infidelity and warning me against secluding myself with that man again! And when I again seclude myself with him in the presence of 2 witnesses they will give me to drink the water of the Sotah. And surely You will not falsify your Torah. |
For in the Torah it says with regard to an innocent woman
who drinks from the waters of the Sotah:
Then she shall be proven
innocent and she shall bear seed.
