Why Did You Enter the Ruin?

| Elijah: | Peace be unto you my teacher |
| R'Yose: | Peace unto you my teacher and master. |
| Elijah: | My son, for what reason did you
enter this ruin and endanger yourself? |
| R'Yose: | To Pray. |
| Elijah: | You should have prayed on the road
and have not entered the ruin. |
| R'Yose: | I did not pray on the road for I was afraid
that a passerby might interrupt me. |
| Elijah: | In that case you should have
prayed the abridged prayer. |
