Rather, at the end of the day when a person
is coming home from the field in the evening
he should go directly to the synagogue.
(1) If he is accustomed to read Scripture,
he should read Scripture,
(2) If he is accustomed to study Mishnah,
he should study Mishnah,
next he should recite the Shema
and pray the Shemoneh Esrei,
and eat his bread and say the blessing after it.
And whoever goes against the words of the Sages
is liable for the death penalty.
