Torah Study Protects Us

Regarding anyone who engages in Torah study, afflictions stay away from him.
and the spirits (reshef) soar in flight (uf).
And the word 'uf' is interpreted here as refering only to Torah
For it is stated elsewhere that uf is associated with Torah
You close (hasa'if) your eyes to it (the Torah), and it is gone
And the word 'reshef' is interpreted here as referring only to afflictions,
for it is stated elsewhere that 'reshef' is associated with afflictions:
Bloating of famine, battles of 'reshef'
