Passage Content
Ben Azai entered a bathroom after
Rabbi Akiva, and I learned 3 things
from observing his behavior:
1) I learned that one should not
defecate while facing east and west,
but rather while facing north and south;
2) I learned that one should not
uncover himself while standing,
but instead while sitting;
3) I learned that one should not
wipe with his right hand, but with his left.
