What can He give you. What can He add to you. O deceitful tongue? |
God says to the tongue:
All of a person's limbs are upright,
yet you in a passive position.
All of a person's limbs are external,
yet you are internal.
Not only that but I have placed you placed
2 walls, one of bone and one of flesh.
what can he give... what can he add...
This means what further safeguards could
God add to you, to prevent you from
speaking gossip and harmful words?
