Two challenges with fighting the Evil Inclination.
A person's Evil Inclinatinos renews itself against him everyday
Only evil the entire day.
A person's Evil Inclination threatens to overpower him everyday and seeks to kill him
The wicked one watches for the righteous and seeks to slay him.
And if not that God aided each person, no one would be able to withstand the Evil Inclination.
God will not leave him in his hand.
Note 25 - 30b2
This verse implies that were God not to come to a person's aid,
The Evil Inclination would succeed in slaying him.
This doesn't mean that God will unconditionally come to the aid
of any person in order to prevent him from sinnning in every situation
For that would undermine the very purpose of the existence of the Evil Inclination.
BUT!!!! if a person attempts to oppose the Evil Inclination
God will come to his aid.
