Why are the words of Torah compared
to these 3 liquids: water, wine and milk?
Go buy and eat:
Go buy wine and
milk without money
and at no cost?
Just as these 3 liquids are preserved only
in the most inferior of vessels (earthenware),
So too the words of Torah are retained
only by someone who is humble.
